BANDUNG, 19/09/2023. The Communication Science Department held a Judicial event for Announcement of Even Semester Grades for the 2022/2023 Academic Year at the Grand Preanger Hotel, Bandung City. The Judiciary event was attended by 161 students, lecturers in the Communication Science Study Program, and the Dean of the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, UNIKOM, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Lilis Puspitawati, M.Si, AK. C.A. CRP. CSRS. The Judiciary event preceded solemnly and opened with remarks from the Dean of FISIP and a report from the Chief Executive of the Even Thesis Session for the 2022/2023 Academic Year, namely Dr. Manap So seen, M.Sc.
Based on a report from the Chief Executive, 185 Candidates initially attended the Thesis Session, 168 Candidates continued on to the research proposal seminar and 161 Candidates were declared to have passed. Candidates declared Cumlaude with a GPA of 3.50-3.79 are around 59.63% or 61 Candidates and Magna Cumlaude with a GPA of 3.80-3.89 are around 1.86% or 3 Candidates. The report from the Chief Executive was warmly welcomed by the candidates and invited guests. The candidates were looking forward to the moment of announcing their scores which was finally fulfilled after the chief executive read out the scores of the candidates.
One of the candidates who was very happy was Raka Nizar Ilham who graduated with a Magna Cum laude GPA of 3.89. Two other candidates who graduated with Magna Cum laude honors felt the same feeling, namely Nita Septiani with a GPA of 3.82 and Fadhil Syabana with a GPA of 3.81. The Judiciary moment became even more lively when it closed with the showing of a video presentation from the Communication Science Study Program which brought an exciting and emotional impression, as well as a luncheon together at a hotel with historical value in the city of Bandung. The hope of the Thesis Trial Committee for the next Judiciary event is to be able to graduate more candidates with satisfactory grades and quality.
