Kurikulum

Kurikulum terbaru Program Studi Ilmu Komunikasi disahkan pada tahun 2021 dan mulai dilaksanakan pada Semester Ganjil Tahun Akademik 2021-2022. Kurikulum 2021 telah disusun berdasarkan kerangka Outcome Based Education (OBE) dan juga mengimplementasikan Kebijakan Kampus Merdeka Belajar Mandiri. (MBKM).

Kurikulum 2021 merupakan evaluasi terhadap kurikulum sebelumnya, melalui proses panjang di bawah Pengembang Kurikulum Tine Agustin Wulandari, S.I.Kom., M.I.Kom. dengan dukungan penuh dari Ketua dan Sekretaris Program Studi Ilmu Komunikasi, Dekan FISIP, Kepala Divisi Kurikulum, serta Wakil Rektor Bidang Akademik & Kemahasiswaan.

Peninjauan & perubahan kurikulum dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk mengikuti trend perkembangan ilmu komunikasi berdasarkan masukan dari pemangku kepentingan terkait, mulai dari lulusan, pengguna lulusan, hingga asosiasi profesi agar kurikulum Program Studi Ilmu Komunikasi selalu sesuai dengan kebutuhan yang dijabarkan melalui profil dan capaian pembelajaran lulusan yang telah ditentukan.

Terdapat 24 mata kuliah baru dalam Kurikulum 2021 yang menonjolkan Komunikasi Digital sebagai karakter Program Studi Ilmu Komunikasi disertai mata kuliah komputer aplikasi di setiap semester sampai dengan semester VII. Dengan jumlah 144 SKS sesuai dengan ketentuan Kementerian Pendidikan, Kebudayaan, Riset, dan Teknologi Republik Indonesia untuk jenjang strata satu.

  • Berperan sebagai warga negara yang bangga dan cinta tanah air, beretika serta bertanggung jawab atas pekerjaan dalam upaya meningkatkan mutu kehidupan bermasyarakat dengan menghargai keanekaragaman budaya, bahasa, pandangan dan agama, serta menginternalisasi konsep kemandirian, kejuangan dan kewirausahaan dalam pemanfaatan teknologi informasi di bidangnya masing-masing;
  • Mampu memanfaatan teknologi informasi baik software, hardware dan perangkat lainnya secara mandiri, bermutu dan terukur sesuai dengan bidang keahliannya dengan memperhatikan dan menerapkan nilai budaya dan kearifan lokal;
  • Menguasai konsep teoritis ilmu komunikasi secara umum, maupun dalam berbagai konteks komunikasi;
  • Mampu merencanakan, memproduksi dan mendistribusikan pesan komunikasi untuk berbagai tujuan, menggunakan beragam platform media sesuai norma hukum, norma sosial, dan etika yang berlaku;
  • Mampu melakukan analisis atau kajian terhadap masalah atau isu komunikasi dalam berbagai konteks menggunakan konsep dan teori komunikasi yang relevan;
  • Mampu mengambil keputusan secara tepat dalam konteks penyelesaian masalah di bidang keahlian komunikasi, berdasarkan hasil analisis informasi dan data yang tepat;
  • Mampu berkomunikasi, kreatif, bekerja keras, memimpin dan melakukan kerjasama dalam sebuah kelompok kerja dengan memperhatikan nilai, norma, dan prinsip-prinsip etika akademik dalam mengimplementasikan profesi komunikasi dengan kriteria kinerja mandiri, bermutu, dan terukur;
  • Mampu merencanakan dan melaksanakan suatu program komunikasi secara kolaboratif dan berkelanjutan;
  • Mampu merencanakan, mewujudkan dan memublikasikan karya komunikasi berbasis data, sebagai bentuk adaptasi terhadap disrupsi digital;
  • Mampu merencanakan, melaksanakan, melaporkan, dan memublikasikan hasil penelitian komunikasi dan pengabdian kepada masyarakat berdasarkan kaidah-kaidah ilmiah bidang ilmu komunikasi;
  • Menguasai keterampilan komunikasi yang mendasar yaitu public speaking dan produksi multimedia;
  • Menjalankan tugas dengan penuh tanggungjawab dengan menghasilkan produk isi pesan komunikasi, kajian bidang komunikasi dan program komunikasi yang memberikan manfaat bagi masyarakat dan sesuai dengan norma hukum, norma sosial, dan etika yang berlaku.

  • Students take part in the MBKM Program at partners who have signed cooperation agreement;
  • The assessment for the courses of the Pertukaran Mahasiswa Merdeka (PMM) Program is determined by the teaching lecturers, while the assessment for other MBKM Programs is determined jointly (campus and company).
