Bandung, February 05, 2026– The Communication Science Department of FISIP Unikom successfully held the Table Manner Course event on February 03, 2026, at Hotel Grand Tjokro Bandung. The event was attended by Communication Science students of Unikom as part of their professional skill development beyond the classroom.
This table manner event aimed to equip students with an understanding of formal dining etiquette, official banquet procedures, and professional conduct in formal settings. As Communication Science students who will eventually enter the professional world, communication skills are not only measured by speaking abilities but also by attitude, etiquette, and self-presentation in formal environments.
The event began with a session explaining the fundamentals of international dining etiquette, including the proper use of cutlery, the sequence of meal courses, and appropriate interaction in a formal atmosphere. The participants then directly practiced these procedures in a banquet setting prepared by the hotel.
In addition to serving as a learning platform, this event also became a moment to strengthen the bond among Communication Science students of Unikom. With a warm yet formal atmosphere, participants not only gained new knowledge but also valuable experiences that will support their readiness for the professional world.
Through Table Manner Course, the Communication Science Department demonstrates its commitment to producing graduates who are not only academically competent but also possess strong ethics, confidence, and professionalism. It is hoped that this event will continue to be a regular agenda that positively impacts the development of students’ quality in the future.
