BANDUNG, February 23 2026 — Navigating early adulthood is rarely a smooth journey, especially for university students facing the mounting pressures of academics, future career choices, and personal expectations. Recognizing this challenge, the Communication Science Department at Universitas Komputer Indonesia (UNIKOM) recently held its highly anticipated Islamic Mentoring 2026 event on February 10 ago.

Exclusively attended by Communication Science students, this year’s gathering tackled a highly relatable and urgent topic for today’s youth. The chosen theme, “Have faith in the middle of Overthinking and Quarter-Life Crisis,” aimed to provide a supportive bridge between spiritual grounding and mental well-being with Ustd. Nur Ihsan Jundulloh, Lc as a Speaker.

Tackling the Quarter-Life Crisis

The “quarter-life crisis” is a period of intense soul-searching and stress that typically hits young adults in their early twenties. For Communication Science students—who are constantly analyzing media, public perception, and fast-paced digital trends—the pressure to succeed and the tendency to overthink can feel overwhelming.

Islamic Mentoring 2026 was designed specifically to address these modern anxieties. The event provided a safe, empathetic space for students to unpack their worries about the future while exploring how Islamic teachings can offer profound comfort and clarity.

Bridging Spirituality and Mental Resilience

Throughout the mentoring sessions, students engaged in deep discussions about how to anchor themselves in faith when the mind begins to spiral. Key takeaways from the event included:

  • Understanding Tawakkul (Trust in God): Learning how to balance hard work (ikhtiar) with surrendering the ultimate outcome to God, thereby reducing anxiety about the unknown future.

  • Mindfulness in Prayer: Using daily prayers and reflection as practical tools to quiet an overactive mind and stay grounded in the present moment.

  • Community Support: Building a strong, supportive network among fellow Communication Science peers who are experiencing the same life transitions.

A Step Toward a Brighter Future

The enthusiastic participation of the Communication Science students highlighted just how necessary these conversations are. By openly discussing overthinking and the quarter-life crisis through a spiritual lens, the department has empowered its students to face their academic and personal futures with renewed confidence and inner peace.

Islamic Mentoring 2026 stands as a testament to UNIKOM’s commitment to nurturing not just the academic intellect of its students, but their emotional and spiritual resilience as well.
